Year 4 - Warwick

It is now the final term of the year and the new topic year 4 will be studying is called Traders and Raiders. They will be learning all about The Vikings and The Anglo-Saxons. We started the new half term with a topic day where the children we able to have an insight into who The Vikings were, designed shields, wrote their names using Viking Runes and created Viking heads out of clay.

Welcome to Warwick's class page. Miss Tarran, Miss Anderson and Miss Leach are looking forward to sharing all of the amazing things that we have been up to. Our current topic is Pump up the volume, which is all about sound and how we hear. Have a look at our home learning link below to find out everything we are learning about this summer term.
Year 4 had a visit from Winchester Science Centre where they took part in a Science workshop all about sound. They made a swan whistle out of a straw, a paper banger and also explored vibrations using a wire hanger and string.
