Welcome to the final half term of Year Five for Edinburgh class! This half term's topic is 'The Tudors' and we have learnt lots already. We started off by creating a timeline of our own lives this week, and then timelining the events of the Tudor period. We have also created a case profile of Henry VIII and looked at the fate of his six wives (it wasn't good...and that's putting it politely!). We have completed three weeks' worth of Fractions, Decimals and Percentages in Maths, as well as taking a good look at place value and the number system/time and measure (money money, money!). We have linked our English to our History topic so passionately debated (and acted!): 'Anne Boleyn: Saint or Sinner?' We have Creativity Week in the final full week of term so are looking forward to participating in lots of fun subjects such as: Forest Schools, Art, RE, French, Drama, Cookery (DT), IT and PE!
Still not thinking about them leaving me just yet!
Thanks for reading and your continued support as always.
